This rental japanese VHS i bought at Game Tanteidan in august 2024 was was ripped with a Sony VRD – MC5 with composite input with the highest bitrate possible. It records VOB files on a DVD and then i convert this to MP4 on a PC.
Unfortunately, i wasn’t able to use the resulting mp4 file in any video editor (Da Vinci Resolve , VLC) to be able to deinterlace the file…
